Courtney Mott (b. 2000) is a sculptor who primarily works with ceramic, found objects and mixed media. She is based on the unceded and traditional lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples (Vancouver, Canada).
Her practice embarks on themes of immediacy, impermanence and rhythm through modes of automatic mark-making. Often materializing states of rumination into otherworldly spaces and forms.
